The Michlalah Education Degree
Rabbi Shore's course "Emotional Intelligence: the role of emotions in Torah and secular studies," is one of many courses offered on the men's program developed by Michlalah College, Jerusalem, and offered to yeshiva and kollel students, and Torah scholars, with at least seven to ten years of Torah study behind them. Courses are offered in a wide range of topics related to educational theory and practice. At the end of the course of studies, which takes approximately two years, students receive a Bachelor's degree in education, which is recognized by the Israeli Board of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education, and includes a te'udat hora'ah.
Michlalah makes every effort to maintain a high level of kedusha and kavod ha-Torah in its program - הטהור שבתואר. The goal is to prepare bnei Torah to become outstanding teachers in talmidei Torah, yeshivot ketanot and gedolot and yeshivot tichonim.
